Define Yourself With The 2016 Cadillac CT6 Archetype Configurator

Brands define us, there’s no getting around it. What we choose to be loyal to is a major reflection of the person we are, and Cadillac has tapped into that piece with its “archetype configurator” from the Dare Greatly website.

Visitors select from an assortment of images provided, which then calculates a feature-loaded 2016 Cadillac CT6 to best suit and define you. For example, yours truly selected a fashionable vinyl record along with other images. The result ended in “the audiophile’s CT6,” which prompted detailed information surrounding the exclusive Bose Panaray system.

It’s an intriguing element, part of the recently revamped Dare Greatly webpage to engage consumers in a very fashionable way, Cadillac most recent strategy. Head to the link here to play with the configurator and define yourself.

  1. I got “the power player’s CT6”. Fitting. I could live with a stealthy boulevard rocket ship forever.

  2. Well I saw one of these today. It is much larger than you would expect and the interior is to die for.

As of rocket ship this was more of a cruiser. It is not a challenger to the CTS V in any ways but it is more about the ride and comfort but not in the old boaty Cadillac way.

You will not mistake this for a ATS or CTS in anyway.

    1. How did you get to see one? Have they arrived at the dealerships yet?

      1. Auto show. It was slow and they even let us up on the turn table.

It was much nicer than I expected. Still not the home run but a very solid step forward.

    1. This car is the best-looking in its segment. You keep bringing up this garbage about Cadillac styling and your dislike of it… but keep in mind it’s only your opinion and it’s probably not shared by the overwhelming majority of the car-buying population.

  4. The CT6 is a nice car but alot of people wishes it looks more like the Elmeraj and there was mumbling about the CT6 looks too much like the smaller Caddys…and the looks are not daring enough for a flagship.

  5. They were saying how it was necessary for Cadillac to build the CT6 with a Twin Turbo 3.0L DOHC-4v V6 because of tax issues in some countries; but of course.. what Cadillac could have done was offered the LGW 404 horsepower twin-turbo 3.0L V6 in countries that do have tax laws while in the US, we should get the LF4 464 horsepower twin-turbo 3.6L DOHC-4v V6 used in the ATS-V which diminishes the need for a a V8 especially one that features a DOHC-4v configuration which may not even fit in the engine bay.. although the LT4 640 hp supercharged 6.2L V8 used by the CTS-V should fit in the CT6 and being lighter than the CTS-V should offer better performance with the same engine.
