Chevrolet Draws Parallels With Safety Tech And Scary Movies: Ad Break

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a warning before something bad happens? That’s precisely the idea behind Chevrolet’s latest advertisement.

The ad pokes fun at the stereotypical situations characters are faced in horror films. As the audience, we know something awful is behind the door, but the protagonist never seems to understand. Thankfully, Chevy does.

As our main character goes to open the door to something awful, voices simply tell her to not enter. There’s clearly a monster behind the door. How does this involve the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu and 2016 Chevrolet Cruze? We’re glad you asked.

Much like these playful warnings, both the Chevy Malibu and Cruze possess active safety features to alert the driver before something bad happens, much like before opening the door to, well, something bad.

It’s a well done ad, and holds the viewer’s attention with typical suspense before concluding in a humorous matter. Check it out for yourself up above.
