Bob Lutz is alive and well, and more ambitious than ever. Currently, the former General Motors executive is busy launching VLF Automotive, where his company takes Fisker Karmas and swaps in a 6.2-liter LS9 supercharged V8 engine.
Lutz was the most recent guest on Autoline After Hours, and he covered a range of topics over the one-hour show length. Of course, there’s a mighty plug for VLF, and Lutz explains how the operation came to be over the past few years, even during Fisker’s bankruptcy.
But, he has plenty to say on a wide range of other topics including current brands, trends and vehicles getting the axe. Specifically, the panel goes into great discussion over Fiat-Chrysler and the decision to discontinue the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200, calling the thinking very near sighted.
You can watch the whole discussion transpire in the video right up above.
