Hennessey Performance Engineering keeps the horsepower train coming with this latest video upload, satisfying our hunger for pushrod V8 noises. Hennessey has sure been busy running acceleration tests and dyno tests on its latest performance products, and we’ve been lucky enough to get updates and previews along the way.
This most recent video shows off the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS HPE600 package, with a total output of 526 rear-wheel horsepower. The wonderful part here is that the power is all motor, no forced induction needed.
The sound of the modified LT1‘s exhaust is astounding, thanks to the long tube headers installed by Hennessey. This Camaro also features a high-flow intake manifold, ported cylinder heads, upgraded camshaft, and is refined with chassis dyno tuning. It’s also backed by a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty, in case this video gets you wondering.
