What’s Your Favorite 2016 Chevy SS Sedan Color?

The 2016 Chevy SS sedan offers nine exterior colors all of which are no-cost options and one of which — Slipstream Blue Metallic — is new for the 2016 model year:

  • Heron White
  • Jungle Green Metallic
  • Mystic Green Metallic
  • Phantom Black Metallic
  • Red Hot 2
  • Regal Peacock Green Metallic
  • Silver Ice Metallic
  • Slipstream Blue Metallic (new for 2016)
  • Some Like It Hot Red Metallic

Meanwhile, the interior of the Holden VF Commodore Series II-derived and Zeta-platformed sport sedan continues to be offered exclusively in Jet Black, which works just fine for most SS buyers but has some calling for more variety.

  1. My favorite would be Some Like It Red Hot Metallic, best name & best color.

  2. Mystic Green.
Light enough for 110 + Nevada summers but not white or silver. Not too dark so that mud and snow residue won’t show.
Realize this unit is on its last retail legs but would like to see them go out with:
*Light interior option…my vote saddle interior
    *Most current magnetic ride control
*8 spd auto ( have a 6 spd manual V Wagon…need an auto for Vegas & SoCal freeway travel during biz hours)

  5. If you are going to have a hot car you got to have a hot color! That’s why my pick is Hot Red. However I like red on anything. Especially on Corvettes, Camaros and Silverados. Always color me red.

  6. Hope they bring back Perfect Blue for the big sendoff.

  7. Whichever one best hides how ugly that poor car is. Great car, terrible styling.

  8. “Some like it hot red metallic” and “slipstream blue” look beautiful in person.

  9. My favorite color is slipscreen blue. but the used market raised the price as much as 3k for the blue so I settled on heron white which is a plus in the south Carolina summers . which I do think brings less attention which should cut down on speeding tickets.
