While the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit garners the world’s attention, our friend’s to the north have kicked off the 2016 Montreal International Auto Show. And General Motors has sent some great hardware.
Buick is representing with the Avenir concept vehicle, which debuted last year in Detroit. Unfortunately, if locals want a look at what Buick had up its sleeve this year, the Buick Avista will reside in Cobo Hall in Detroit for the duration of the 2016 NAIAS. But, the Avenir is no consolation prize. We actually missed seeing the stunning sedan in Detroit. You lucky Canucks …
Buick will also show the 2016 Envision crossover alongside the Avenir in Montreal. As important has the 2016 Buick Envision will be in the United States, it will surely find a few homes in Canada.
Finally, Cadillac has arrived at the Montreal International Auto Show with the 2017 XT5. It’s an important debut for the 2017 Cadillac XT5; Canada is Cadillac’s third largest market in the world, with sales up 16-percent year-over-year.
So, while much love will be shown to the NAIAS, the MIAS will certainly hold plenty of attention, too.
