Just yesterday, GMC revealed the 2017 Acadia. The all-new model rides on GM’s all-new C1XX platform while repositioning the once full-size crossover into mid-size territory, while adding a rugged All Terrain package.
So, peruse the specs for the 2017 GMC Acadia at your leisure right below.

I really hope this is the case. However, it seems too small for a typical HUD window. Wondering if it the just the Forward Collision and such alerts. The HUD window in the XT5 pics appears to show a much larger, more typical sized one. Plus I don’t see any HUD control buttons anywhere on the dash of the Denali either. In the past, GMC has always called out HUD on the website, even for future vehicles, but nothing for the ’17 Acadia. I sure hope they would not have removed it. It is a preproduction model so at least my hope is still there for the moment. Anyone going to the NAIAS to get an answer from GMC?
Now it looks more like an suv instead of the, flooded, cuv looking market vehicle! Just the right size. If you are not going to give us a body on frame truck style suv, I guess this is going to be the closest we get.
Agree. Only 1mpg advantage with a lighter and smaller vehicle plus the new 3.6 dont seem right, unless GM is downplaying their estimates before certification.
This would be a great place to offer the 2.8L Duramax diesel. 369lb.ft. @ 2000 would help get this sled moving. Of course even if GM ever did offer it, they would force so much extra equipment, the price would likely be well into the $50’s.
The 2017 GMC Acadia is a product of advanced engineering and manufacturing techniques as there are some interesting numbers to look at, the 2017 GMC Acadia with third row seating is 10 inches longer than the 2016 Buick Envision yet despite this size difference, it’s the 2017 GMC Acadia which is about 50 lbs lighter than the 2016 Buick Envision.
You took a car that had a unique size and better than average cargo area and turned it into the same old thing everyone else has. You lost your advantage over the Highlander, Pilot, Explorer and others. You just brought a whole lot more competition into the Acadia arena.

Yes it does, you can see it here when the Video is showing the Dash on the Denali! 😉

You have included the same data for interior and exterior dimentions
Fixed. Thanks Greg!
Thanks Alex. Do you have front headroom specs?
Hey Greg,
We just revised the interior specs table and the headroom measurement for the first row is now included.
Alex
No middle row captains chairs? If not then I’ll buy a 2015 used to replace my 2009.
Second row bucket seats will be offered. Mark Reuss said it during the introduction.
Second row bucket is offered on the 6 passenger seating
In case you missed it, Captains Chairs is explained here! 😉
I hope the transmission is updated to the 9 speed auto that’s in development. These fuel economy numbers would be even better.

Is there a HUD in the 2017 Acadia Denali or not? Specific answer please. I will be VERY disappointed if it’s been removed.
Please confirm the 2017 Acadia Denali has the HUD. Will be VERY disappointed if it’s been removed.
