The new look for the 2016 Chevrolet Spark is described by Chevrolet as having a sleeker proportion and more sophisticated aesthetics. However, the new Spark isn’t just all looks, it’s been updated all-around including it’s technology and performance. And now, the refreshed mini-car is available in the Middle East.
The interior has been updated to be more contemporary, and to match the lowered roof height. A noteworthy addition is the MyLink infotainment system with a 7-inch color touchscreen that gives owners a smart and simple way to use their smartphones hands-free. Safety is also upped with dual driver/front passenger air bags and ECS (electronic stability control).
As for the performance, the 2016 Spark is able to achieve a combined fuel economy of 19.6 km/L (roughly 48 mpg) and yields an estimated 100 horsepower courtesy of an all-new 1.4L engine from GM’s new, global family of Ecotec engines. The extra power comes as a 16 percent increase over the previous model.
Regardless of which continent the car was purchased in, all 2016 Spark owners will receive next-level customer service thanks to Chevrolet Complete Care, which includes a regional 3-year/100,000-km warranty.

With the price of gasoline selling cheaper in Atlantic City, New Jersey for as low as $1.49 per gallon while it’s $1.98 in Dubai, UAE; General Motors should possibly consider selling both the Volt and Bolt in the Middle East.
