Cadillac has tried really, really hard to play with the big boys for a long time. Finally, the fruits of its labors have paid off. Why? Because the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V is quite good. We’ve said it ourselves.
But, RoadShow has put the 2016 ATS-V up against the two cars Cadillac slapped a target on: the BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz AMG C63.
The standard testing occurs here, showing the 2016 ATS-V place second in the quarter-mile, and take home judges’ favorite in the design department. Except for the interior, and we’re sure Cadillac knows by now the interior cabin of the ATS-V needs some love. So does CUE.
But, we digress. The sublime chassis, the gusto from the 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 and the manual gearbox won over the judges this time. The Bavarians won’t rest on their laurels, but we know Cadillac won’t either.
Definitely take some time to head to the comparison test link, and check out the video of the three sport saloons duking it out on the track, too.
