The 1995 Guldstrand GS90 Coupe is a reimagined Chevrolet C4 Corvette that never made it to the production line because of the price tag it would carry, which was upwards of $200,000 in comparison to the $72,000 price tag on the C4 Corvette ZR1Â at the time.
That said, only 6 convertible models were ever created, dubbed the Guldstrand Nassau Roadster,  in honor of the Grand Sport victory over Shelby’s Cobras at Nassau 1963 – you can thank video host Ryan Cykiert for that fun fact.
If we had our choice between the drop-top and the coupe, we’d go with the coupe, it just has a more appealing look to us, especially the rear end. Either way, the 420 horsepower-rated blown LT1 V8 sitting under that sharp-looking carbon-fiber body along with the independent four-wheel suspension will make for a few heart-racing laps around the track.
Watch the short fun and informative video for yourself, then let us know which model you prefer – convertible or coupe?
