Cadillac most recently partnered up with design house “Public School” to introduce the all-new 2017 XT5. The two took to Dubai, and Esquire has compiled a video featuring Cadillac executives and Public School designers to talk about why the two work so well together.
One thing rings synonymous with both Cadillac design and Public School: the two look to bold, American fashion for inspiration. That’s something Cadillac has told of from the start, and it’s something Public School wanted to get behind.
Designers wanted to redefine luxury to feel easy and effortless, but still striking and full of craftsmanship and character.
Cadillac doesn’t seem to be slowing down in courting the fashion crowd, either. With Cadillac’s move to the SoHo district in New York City, the brand is immersing itself within the lifestyle and designer culture. Expect more luxury tie-ups in the future from a brand searching for a new premium identity.
