This Chevy Corvette C7 Z06 With MagnaFlow Exhaust Sounds Viciously Wild

We’ll just come out and say it: this sound clip of a Chevrolet C7 Corvette Z06 fitted with a fresh MagnaFlow exhaust system simply sounds nasty.

The video clip was filmed right after MagnaFlow installed the system on-site during Corvettes at Carlisle event in Pennsylvania earlier this summer — the second-largest Corvettes at Carlisle gathering ever with over 5,000 Corvettes in attendance. Back to the exhaust: the system is none other than MagnaFlow’s Competition series axle-back with a 3-inch diameter made of mandrel-bent stainless steel piping. The system is legal in all 50 states and expels the Z06’s supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 through 6-inch mufflers via 4.5-inch polished exhaust tips. In other words — it looks good, and sounds even better.

The system retails for roughly $2,5300 USD, though we’ve seen it go for a bit less on eBay. Even so, newfound owners of the C7 Corvette Z06 should have no problem buying it if they so desired given the sports car’s $79,400 starting price. With that said, enthusiasts on a budget should know that a simple muffler delete makes the C7 sound awesome, too.

  1. This article would be even better if it actually had a video that allowed readers to hear the difference of Magnaflow exhaust like this video:
