Nelson Racing ‘Alien’ Intake Will Make A Predator Of Your LS Engine

We may be knocking on 2016’s door, but the pursuit for horsepower won’t be left behind in 2015. In fact, things should just be getting started with a new round of aftermarket performance parts for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro.
But, here we have something new. Nelson Racing Engines has revealed its most innovative intake design to date. Say hello to the “Alien” intake. The name presumably comes from its slim, low-profile looks, but it’s ready to make a predator of any LS engine.
LSXtv reports the intake manifold was applied to a 427 cubic-inch V8 engine and, in the process, helped the engine put down 954 horsepower alongside a twin-turbo setup. The slim design makes things incredibly easier under the hood to stuff extra go-fast parts in, too.
Remember, Christmas is only 359 days away, and this could certainly top a gearhead’s holiday wish list next year.
