Employees at General Motors International’s Singapore headquarters office have donated to the Toys for Tots Program for the second year in a row. The donations benefited disadvantaged children throughout southeast Asia.
There was a bake sale and charity auction held by General Motors to help raise money to purchase toys for the donation. Contributions were also made by employees who bought toys to give the program, and a total of 670 toys worth approximately SGD $16,000 were delivered to the American Association of Singapore, which will handle the distribution.
“GM International and our employees are proud to give back to the community, which has given us so much support,” said GM Executive Vice President and President of GM International Stefan Jacoby. “We hope our donation will help make this an unforgettable Christmas for our youngest neighbors in need.”
It’s great to see efforts being made to help children in need, especially for the holidays. It’s a nice reminder to not take some things for granted.

Huge thanks to the United States Marine Corps for starting and growing this wonderful charity. If it wasn’t for the Marines, there would be a lot of unhappy kids and families every Christmas season.
