Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Spreads Some Holiday Cheer With Multiple Charity Donations

Humans: we should always be at our best and treat every time of the year as if it’s the holiday season. Celine Dion sang about it once: “don’t save it all for Christmas time.” But, inevitably, our sense of giving and cheer is heightened at this time of year.

The Bowling Green Corvette assembly plant embodies this fully, and has made quite a few notable donations to charities to help out during the holidays.

According to local affiliate, WBKO, the Bowling Green assembly plant made a $7,000 donation to the Salvation Army and Teen Angel and Foster Grandparents programs. Plus, a $2,500 check was written out to the Children’s Hospital Foundation with Kosair Children’s Hospital.

Each organization said the much-appreciated donations will go towards purchasing gifts for the less fortunate, and restocking food and supplies at the Salvation Army food pantry.

In addition to the monetary donations, the Bowling Green plant also presented the Salavation Army with a trailer full of 220 gifts for those in need.
