Hey, humans? Here’s a pro tip. Definitely do not ram your 2006 GMC Sierra through the lobby of a hotel if things haven’t gone your way during your stay.
Why, you ask, would we have to provide such sound advice? We’re glad you asked.
According to Jalopnik’s TruckYeah, 62-year old John Parsley did just what we explained up above. Not only that, but he goes back for seconds, reversing, and putting the truck into drive to take one more crack at the structure.
Following a bill dispute at an Oklahoma Comfort Inn, Parsley complained of his credit card being declined, prompting a cash payment. After checking his statement, he noticed the card was indeed charged for the full amount.
The front desk personnel told Parsley he would have to contact his credit card company to drop the conflicting charges.
Instead of the phone call, we have a smashed lobby, in which his first words upon exiting the truck were, “There, that should solve things.”
The hotel manager also reported Parsley stated he would “run them over and the property.” We’d give it a ten-out-of-ten on the follow through.
No one was injured in the accident, and local police promptly took Parsley into custody.
