We merely want to point one thing out before going on: this video comes from Holden, yet not one Holden branded vehicle is present in the entire demonstration. Buicks, Cadillacs and Chevrolets fill the virtual parking lot as our lovely Australian host voices over the scene.
Anyway, here we have a tutorial showcasing how front and rear park assist works in Holden vehicles, despite the lack of them in the video.
Really, the system is self-explanatory but, in case you’re mind is curious, the video above lays everything out in great detail.
The sensors detect objects in the front and rear of the vehicle, with various tones and different beeping speeds to signal how close an object is. Of course, there’s also the rear camera to utilize, too. Or, simply rely on the good ‘ol human eye’s perception.
