The 2016 Chevrolet Trax is the latest vehicle within the brand to receive the Midnight Edition treatment, following the 2016 Chevrolet Impala and Chevrolet Silverado, and the brand is hoping to draw in continued new buyers with it.
Chevrolet announced the addition of the 2016 Trax Midnight Edition will be heading to dealers in February of 2016 with plenty of accents and accessories to provide a near blackout look from the factory.
Included with the 2016 Trax Midnight Edition are black wheels, bezels, belt-line molding and door handles, along with a black rear license plate appliqué. On the inside, the seats are trimmed in gray accents, and the floor mats receive a similar gray piping.
If you’re digging the blacked out Trax, it won’t be rough on the wallet. Chevrolet says the 2016 Trax Midnight Edition will go on sale for $26,625, which is only $500 over a regular Trax LTZ variant.

How about a “Noon Time” edition for those of us in sunny climates? :)…all white or silver with the same treatments to wheels, belt-line molding and door handles, as well as license plate appliqué. As for the bezels the flatter in color or trim the better to reduce glare/reflections.
GMC recently wanted a compact CUV and there may be a market for it especially given the total number for the Chevy Trax and Buick Encore compact CUV accounted for over 11,000 vehicles for the month of November 2015.
Some blacked out vehicles look right on some , and not so much on others . Same with the all black wheels .
The plasti-dipping of wheels is hot right now and an easy way to change the whole look of your ride . And most tire stores are carrying nothing but black wheels .
The Traxx looks alright but I just don’t think that look is for every vehicle . Escpecially not on a luxury car . The satin chrome is a good look for them .
But its your ride so you can do what you want to it . It’s better than your ride looking like all of the others .
%58 percent of Trax buyers are female. And you’re going with BLACK.
Hi. The ‘C’ in Chevy stands for clueless.
Looks lame.
I think they should make a vehicle with a nice blue with red trim like on door handles and bowtie and rims of vehicle try something new instead of drab black wimpy white and silly silver give a truck or car real spirit
