Vauxhall Releases Interactive Virtual Drive With 2016 Astra: Video

Britain’s own Rob Wilson has been instructing Formula 1 drivers for years. And now, we’re getting our chance to ride along with him. Sort of. Thanks to Vauxhall, we now have a 360-degree, interactive F1 drive has your answer.

Vauxhall’s new video the “Astra 360 degree F1 Driving Lesson” gives us more than just a static POV angle behind the wheel of the new 2016 Vauxhall Astra.

Buckle up. Put those headphones in. Put both hands on your smartphone/tablet and you’re ready to go. Sitting next to you is former racing driver Rob Wilson that will help you around the Bruntingthorpe Proving Grounds in South Leicestershire.

While you’re moving, feel free to look around at Wilson or take in the nice sunny scenery by tilting or moving your smartphone/tablet. The interactive Vauxhall Astra video lesson can also be experienced on a laptop or desktop but is less immersive using a Google Maps-esque drag hand to move around the scene.
