Tony Stewart Taking New Crew Chief For 2016 Season After Finishing 28th In 2015

Mike Bugarewicz will replace Chad Johnston as crew chief of Tony Stewart and the No. 14 Chevrolet SS for the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, Motorsport.com reports.

Most recently, Bugarewicz worked as the race engineer of the No. 4 Chevrolet SS of Kevin Harvick. He started his career in NASCAR in 2005 with Roush Fenway Racing after earning his Masters and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State and joined Stewart-Haas Racing in December of 2013.

Stewart finished 28th in the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers standings, posting three top 10s in 36 starts.
