If you haven’t yet heard, the 2016 Cadillac XTS is the happy recipient of a revised front fascia compared to the 2013, 2014, and 2015 models.
The updated fascia proudly features the new wreathe-less Cadillac Crest logo as well as new upper and lower grilles. And like all 2016 Cadillac cars, the 2016 XTS also repositions the badging in the rear, moving it higher on the trunk lid.
So, do you like the updated design of the 2016 XTS more than the previous models? Talk to us in the comments.

Saw one actually today.. Looked really nice I have to say
The front fascia changes to the 2016 Cadillac XTS are modest as the vertical chrome ribbing in the grill appear to have been removed giving the XTS a cleaner look.
Problem is, the XTS Platinum now looks a heck of a lot more like a 2015 Cruze – both share the extreme horizontal chrome bars. Removing the vertical ones breaks Art & Science, and makes Chevy, Buick, and Cadillac now all have very similar/aligned grille design language. Frankly, too similar for my taste.
Oh cmon… the grille is a minor part of the overall design.
Yea, I remember the first time I saw one of these. That was about a couple weeks ago; wasn’t aware of the 2016 model receiving the new front fascia update. I kept thinking it was an ATS! But then I saw one the second time and thought it looked quite nice.
Can’t wait for the CT6 to start popping up!
The XTS for me is one of the most exciting Cadillacs of the last years
Really? Good and competent vehicle but I wouldn’t say exciting.
Right. Neither would I. The CT6 is far more exciting.
Absolutely and the CT6 will be more successful and every regard compared to the outgoing XTS.
I was looking forward to buying the 2016 Caddy but now it’s design is not unique. I guess I will wait till 2016 Sept. to purchase the NEW 2017 Lincoln Continental , it looks more classy than what you are doing to the 2016 Caddy which looks like an advertisement for Chevy ?
Seriously? Have you even seen the 2016 CT6? Here, have a look:

Nothing from Lincoln comes close in any department to the CT6, party because Ford doesn’t have a proper luxury car platform to use nor has it made the adequate investments in Lincoln. You should rethink your decision.
By the way, the XTS is better than the Continental. Heck, the Lincoln is not even a real production car.
Really the Continental over the CT6??
The CT6 will be lighter, better fuel economy , have better driving dynamics and be more luxuriously appointed.
Also let’s not forget the extremely competitive pricing for the CT6 makes it a great value for it’s segment.
You should test drive the CT6 in the summer before making a decision.
Even some of the most faded Ford/Lincoln fanboys can easily see that the CT6 easily will whup the Continental in every which way.
You don’t know what you are talking about and just reaching pure dumb BS.
I have seen one already on a dealerships lot and I think it is just the right fix for the front end to help it join the other Cadillacs . The fix will give the XTS a slight sales bump that was needed . Remember this car was just to fill a void in an open spot in Cadillacs product portfolio . It is a nice car . And it will sell for people that want someting bigger than a CTS . This is Cadillacs Walmart crowd car . They deserve to drive one too . 🙂
Completely agree.
The XTS was always intended to be a stopgap vehicle until a proper large luxury sedan was brought to market.
It has done a commendable job given it’s limited Epsilon roots.
I HAD A 2013 Cadillac. IT DROVE SMOOTHLY AND WITH VERY LITTLE ROAD NOISE. This is not true for my 2016 xts.
The road noise is very loud. I hear it over my music which I play loudly. The ride of the 2016 is bouncy. The inside of the cabin is more narrow than my 2013 xts. and the Cadillac emblem is a cts emblem and it is cheap looking on the xts. The sporty ride is for the cts not the xts. I wanted luxury not sporty. My mistake. 2013 is luxury. I owned a cts it was sporty.
If I could have I would have traded the 2016 in within 2 weeks for a 2013 to a2015 But I put too much down. The only thing I like about the 2016 is the front camera and the tri coat color. Wish I could go back to a true xts.
