SLP Will Debut New Supercharger System For Fifth-Generation Camaro Z/28 At SEMA

The fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is essentially a street legal racecar with the heart of a racing-focused engine; the mighty LS7. And Street Legal Performance is set to debut its new SLP Supercharger kit for the 7.0L V8 at the 2015 SEMA Show in the Las Vegas Convention Center tomorrow.

The new supercharger from SLP will bring the power of a Camaro Z/28 from 505 horsepower to 625 horsepower, a gain of 120 ponies. It will be displayed on a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 tribute car in booth No. 20379, which benefits the Ride 2 Recovery – a nonprofit organization that supports veterans. This particular Camaro was built by Big Red Camaro and Hillbank Motorsports, and shows off some other goodies aside from SLP’s new supercharger, such as; SLP headers, X-pipe, and axle-back exhaust system, an SLP short-throw shifter, Forgeline wheels, and a UMI Performance suspension.

After its time in the spot light, the Big Red Camaro will be auctioned off in January 2016 at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, along with the SLP Supercharger and other goodies.
