David Wilhelm of Sandusky, Ohio had finally saved up enough money to buy his dream car — a C6 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport with a black body, an aggressive-looking black top, glossy black wheels, and a black interior.
Wilhelm bought the Corvette on Monday afternoon around 4 p.m., but less than an hour later, the Chevrolet sports car was T-boned by a Ford Flex that had run a red light, forcing Wilhelm’s Vette into a utility pole at the intersection of Hancock and East Monroe in Sandusky. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The GM Authority Take
What a shame. We truly feel for David. Here’s to hoping that his insurance will cover the cost to replace his dream Corvette.
