How To Properly Build A Chevrolet C3 Corvette Restomod: Video

This 1977 Chevrolet C3 Corvette is the perfect example of what a restomod should be.

Let’s start with the powerhouse; it’s a 4-bolt main 350 V8 engine out of a 1979 Chevrolet 1500 van with heads off of a 1969 Camaro Z/28. The V8 has been fitted with a new Edlebrock intake and carburator, and that speaks to the rest of the car – sure, simple and pretty freakin’ sweet.

We have to point out how much we love the eye-catching paint job, it grabs your attention but it isn’t obnoxious.

While the razzle and dazzle of this C3 is enough to make the video worth watching, Regular Car Reviews gives some trivia on the 1977 year model Corvette, such as the fact that it was the final year for this style rear window.

Aside from the information, you can expect your typical RCR humor and other random facts. For instance, did you know Pennsylvania is the number one producer of mushrooms in the United States? Neither did we.

A car-loving millennial. We Are!

  1. Too bad the 302 wasn’t used. That would’ve been different.
