Holden Honors Top Technicians From Australia And New Zealand

Holden recognized its highest-performing dealer technicians during an awards ceremony following the annual 2015 Technicians Guild competition held at Holden’s headquarters in Port Melbourne.

Over 2,800 service technicians participated in the competition, which ran from March through November, and concluded with the six-station all-day skills assessment before the award ceremony. The competition and program are held to ensure Holden techs remain in top shape, as the brand commits to the best service of any new or used Holden vehicle.

“Holden takes great pride in the exceptional customer service, product knowledge and technical ability displayed by our Dealer Service Technicians and apprentices,” Steve Eagland, Director – Holden Training Academy said Holden Dealer Service Technicians, said.

“The Technicians Guild program continues to nurture the talent of our highly skilled technicians and apprentices, ensuring Holden owners can be confident that they are getting their car serviced at an authorised Holden Service Centre by technicians specifically trained on the latest in diagnostic technology.”

  1. As an old school mechanic it’s great to see Holden doing this for these young kids. I thought I was a pretty smart operator back in the 70’s and 80’s and 90’s, but compared with what they have to deal with today, they can have it on their own. They really deserve everything they get. Now, if they could just pay them what they’re worth, it would be win, win for everybody. Well done boys!!
