Holden Home Ground Advantage Kicks Off Third Round For Local Sporting Clubs

Holden is back at it, helping local sporting clubs in many ways with essential funding to keep communities engaged. Round three of the Holden Home Ground Advantage has officially kicked off, with the brand now taking summer applications for up to $250,000 AUD in grants.

One club will be eligible to receive an additional $100,o00 AUD, and other grants are available for smaller, worthy projects.

Holden Director of Communications, Sean Poppitt, said grassroots sporting clubs played a vital role in local communities but often struggled to reach their full potential due to lack of funding.

“We know that community clubs work tirelessly to fundraise but it takes a lot of sausage sizzles, cake stalls and trivia nights to raise the sort of money most need to operate successfully,” Poppitt said.

“The great thing about this program is that it’s open to grassroots sporting clubs right across Australia so we’re really keen to hear from all clubs who need a financial boost to help them thrive.”

Holden has committed $5 million AUD over the next ten years to help local communities and their sporting clubs. More information and the application submission link can be found right here.
