General Motors had a good evening thanks to the fine folks over at Motor Trend, which awarded not only its coveted Car of the Year award to the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, but also gave the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado a repeat win, awarding it Truck of the Year.
But, it’s also Power List time, and MT has provided this year’s ranking of where the who’s who stand within the industry.
We see quite a few familiar names make the list, including Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen, GM product chief Mark Reuss, GM CEO Mary Barra and a handful of others. In fact, number four may surprise you, and he wasn’t even a twinkle in the 2015 Power List’s eye.
Head on over to the link here to see where some of GM’s top executives and engineers landed. And be sure to let us know if you agree with the placement on this year’s Power List.

Interesting first sentence on gentlemen from Subaru in first place–ultimate compliment is when the public buys your cars! How true that is.
Interesting, not one person from any tier 1 supplier. No Delphi, no Bosch, no Denso, no Conti, no Magneti Marelli, no Magna, no Lear, no Hitachi, no Aisin, no ZF, no Borg Warner, and on and on. Nothing.
Really? Apparently nobody in the supply chain does anything noteworthy…but the lead design from Honda responsible for putting people to sleep at auto shows, three folks from Google, and a California Air Research Board Chairwoman make it on the list?
I guess I should give up my career now, since I’ll never apparently matter.
