The Australian V8 Supercars Series visited Phillip Island this past weekend, where Red Bull Racing Australia drivers Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup took victories in the double-header GP.
Holden Racing Team, which is General Motors and Holden’s factory racing team in the V8 Supercars series, were unable to pull out a podium position at Phillip Island. But the team is switching from a four-car formula in 2015 to a basic two-car one in 2016 in effort to re-create the glory days at HRT (they last won a championship in 2002), so perhaps better days are ahead for the red Commodores.
The team recently posted a quick 75-second summary of their time at Phillip Island to their YouTube channel, so check it out above. It doesn’t feature any onboard clips from the race, qualifying or practice, but it does give us a behind-the-scenes look at some of the action that goes on inside the garage.
