Following up the 2017 Buick LaCrosse exterior design teaser is a quick look at what to expect from the interior of the car.
Buick flashes the words “conceived, designed and rendered speechless” in the brief video, giving us a look at the steering wheel and gear selector in the upcoming sedan’s crafted interior. We see some great flowing lines in the few shots shown, especially around the flowing center stack with the new gear selector present.
It’s expected the 2017 LaCrosse will feature a much more upscale interior cabin than present, awash with higher quality materials, something its Buick Avenir inspiration will likely put front and center.
We won’t have much longer to wait until the latest from Buick design is unveiled. The 2017 Buick LaCrosse will officially bow at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.

It looks like if the shifter is borrowed from the XT5 and its not a bad thing. Very BMW-esque
I wish they’d go back to a woodgrain steering wheel. Oh well…
When was the last time Buick had us on the edge of the chair like that? For me it’s the first time, for sure, I can’t wait for full reveal!
It looks like this gear selector is the new thing in GM. We saw it the other day in the XT5, here in the new Lacrosse, and let’s not forget the spy shots of the interior of the upcoming Bolt. I’m still surprised this did not make it into the CT6, with it being Cadillac’s range topper. It’ll be interesting to see where it goes next.
They are all adapting to the electronic shifters like everyone else.
I hope they work better than the one in the 300. I get more changes than I like with that one. Very sensitive.
Was going out to buy a 2016 Lacrosse, after reading all about the 2017’s everything I don’t like about my 2013 Lacrosse seems like it has been corrected. Do you know when they will hit the dealers
Hey Geri,
We don’t have an exact date, but Buick has said the 2017 LaCrosse will be at dealers summer of 2016.
Cheers,
Sean
