2016 Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Bone Collector Concept Beckons The Outdoors: SEMA 2015

For Chevrolet’s final act at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the brand unveiled the 2016 Silverado Realtree Bone Collector concept. Inspired by camouflage hunting gear company, Realtree, and Michael Waddell of The Outdoor Channel’s The Bone Collector, the 2016 Silverado concept hosts a plethora of outdoor gear.

“The capability of Chevy trucks has always enabled customers to go where they want to go and that inspiration is the foundation for these exciting concept vehicles,” said Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet Truck Marketing. “They demonstrate what’s possible through personalization, inspiration and the assurance of the industry’s most-dependable, longest-lasting full-size trucks.”

The 2016 Silverado Realtree Bone Collector concept wears larger, aggressive off-road tires, mounted on black Chevrolet Accessories 22-inch black aluminum wheels, while incorporating Chevrolet Accessories’ new off-road package, which includes a front push bar, assist steps and sport bar.

To ensure the trail may be blazed at any time of the day, an LED off-road light bar has been mounted to the sport bar and, to also ensure break time is right around the corner, a cooler has been mounted just behind the cab.

The eye-catching camo theme translates inside the cabin, too, with a unique Bone Collector instrument cluster display with a Bone Collector green-tinted lens, as well as matching stitching accents on the leather-trimmed bucket seats, steering wheel, console and more – including custom-embroidered front-seat headrests.

“This Silverado concept is the perfect outdoor lifestyle vehicle, offering the capability to take you deep into the woods and mountains, with the specialty gear to make the excursion more successful,” said Michael Waddell. “The Realtree camo graphics really distinguish it, too, adding functional personalization.”

As with the utter onslaught of concepts Chevrolet has brought to the 2015 SEMA Show, the brand will evaluate responses and opinions to the truck to help determine production possibilities.
