The 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Trail Boss is good. Really good. When we sampled the truck and its off-road prowess, we walked away impressed by the capabilities brought forth with the Goodyear DuraTrac 265/65R17 all-terrain tires, and the 2.8-liter Duramax turbo-four diesel engine.
Chevrolet made it clear personalization will be key for its truck lineup in the near future, and that statement rings true with the introduction of the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Traill Boss 3.0.
The brand introduced the Colorado concept at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, where it showcases a further depth in Chevrolet accessories and performance parts.
In addition to the 2016 Colorado Trail Boss’ standard features, the 2016 Colorado Trail Boss 3.0 concept arrives in Las Vegas with a Red Hot exterior hue with complimenting rally stripe graphics. Additional concept and custom touches include an illuminated front bowtie emblem in the grille, body-color door handles and mirror caps, and rocker bars.
Inside, a concept ambient lighting system, rubberized floor liners, a brushed metal interior trim kit and stainless steel sill plates add a little more tough to the concept’s gussied up looks.
Chevrolet has also outfitted the concept with a performance exhaust and air intake, but we’re curious to know what engine resides under the hood, as a Chevy performance exhaust to maximize the 2.8-liter Duramax’s potential would be one big bowl of awesome.
As with each concept Chevrolet is bringing to the 2015 SEMA Show, the brand will closely gauge responses and opinions to determine production possibilities and additional special edition models for various vehicles.

They seriously need to take the lower body cladding that’s on the z71 off of the list
Looks jacked up a little, I know the air dam is removed but still looks higher or leveled out…
Stop delaying the obvious and bring out the ZR 2 already, seems like they are teasing us with these sticker packages!!
Losers!
Glowing bowtie is nice though.
