As if the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Red Line concept and the pair of 2016 Camaro Red Accent and Black Accent concepts weren’t enough Camaro for SEMA, Chevrolet has pulled the wraps off of four additional sixth-generation Camaros to lust over.
First is the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Performance concept. Obviously, the Camaro has a long association with performance, and the 2016 Camaro Performance concept hosts some of Chevrolet’s latest go-fast bits and accessories for the car.
Specifically, a performance air intake, exhaust system and a red engine cover, as well as a new suspension-lowering kit and a Brembo front brake upgrade kit with six-piston calipers help put the “perform” in this performance concept.
Additionally, the Summit White exterior paint choice is complimented with red tones, a front fascia extension and stripe graphics, plus concept 20-inch wheels. Inside, things are spruced up accordingly with Red Hot interior inserts, Chevrolet Performance-logo console armrest cover and floor mats, and Jet Black suede knee pads.
“Since it was introduced in 1967, the Camaro has been one of the industry’s most personal and personalized cars,” said Roger McCormack, director, Accessories & Performance Parts Marketing. “Many customers use the Camaro as a canvas to express their personalities and these concepts serve as inspiration for the many options available from Chevrolet.”
The Camaro Performance concept will be joined by the Camaro Hyper concept, Camaro Black concept and Camaro Krypton concept, along with over 20 other Chevrolet concepts.
