The previous-generation Chevrolet Malibu was birthed from “Old GM” and bankruptcy. If you follow the industry even in the most hands off fashion, you know those two terms definitely can’t create a very good car.
And the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu was not a very good car. It was, as Mr. Regular puts it, “fine.” Simply, it’s fine. It does everything it needs to, but it won’t excel at any of them.
It’s the sedan destined for rental car lots, or for drivers looking for a basic recipe to get them from point A, to point B. That’s it.
But, as the review puts it, it’s the car your “one friend drives.” The one who has a voice and an impression for everyone, but none of them are that good. Again, a jack of all trades, but not skilled in one particular area, much like the 2014 Chevy Malibu.
We’ll stop blabbing, and let you have a look at the video for yourself now.

This car is such a turd….
Why are you putting this on when others are testing the new 2016?
MT liked it but hated the LT1 level trim. But then again what entry level model has a good interior in this segment?
The GM haters are afraid that GM has come out with a superior product in it’s class. It’s hard to believe how some of these writers are. This guy sounds like a moron.
I have a 2014 3lt Malibu with 2.0t its as fast as my 2006 SS impala and I’m averaging 29.4 mpg! Great car.
