1971 Plymouth ‘Cuda With Corvette Power Is Certain To Upset Mopar Fans, Make Small-Block Lovers Smile: Video

If one truly wanted to soak in everything the 2015 SEMA Show has to offer, it would take more time than could imagine. Thankfully, the internet allows us to take a closer look at many of the tremendous cars and concepts featured at the specialty show. That includes this 1971 Plymouth Barracuda.

But, it’s not a normal 1971 ‘Cuda. In fact, the builders must be begging for Mopar fans to write in hate mail, because sitting under the hood is 7.0-liter LS7 V8 power straight from a Corvette. LS swap the world, indeed.

The 1971 ‘Cuda features Mercury Racing heads and was built by Salvaggio Design, and the craftsmanship under the hood is apparent from the video we’ve attached above. We can’t imagine the sensation of jumping behind the wheel of this Mopar-turned-small-block creation, and ringing out the naturally aspirated engine to 8,000 RPM. That scenario will sadly have to stick to our dreams.
