Walkinshaw Announces W547 Kit To Boost Your 2016 Holden Commodore Series II

Knowing the 2016 Holden VF Commodore Series II will be the last locally-produced iteration of the vehicle and, in the process, be converted to a front-wheel drive platform, Walkinshaw has brought out the big guns for its latest performance kit.

The division behind Holden Special Vehicles has announced its new W547 kit for the 2016 VF Series II, and it comes with plenty of go-fast goodies.

With the 6.2-liter LS3 as a base, Walkinshaw has developed a comprehensive supercharger kit including an Eaton 2300 roots-type blower, high-flow injectors, a water-to-air intercooler and 12-inch intake runners for an extra dose of torque.

If that’s not enough, there’s also a new cam gear and WP-spec camshaft and a full exhaust system with ceramic headers. The final results of Walkinshaw’s work? A colossal 734 hp and 649 lb-ft of torque. Wait until you blow the doors off one of those fancy HSV Clubsports in your “regular” Holden Commodore.

Walkinshaw is offering the first 50 customers a few bonuses, too. The supercharger is painted yellow, with yellow cast aluminium coil covers, while providing a special photo of the Walkinshaw Racing V8 Supercar signed by Lee Holdsworth.

Walkinshaw has developed its most potent performance package in Commodore history so, we ask, why are you still reading, and why haven’t you ordered yours yet?
