This quarter-scale Chevrolet C4 Corvette is about as cool as an actual C4 Corvette, take that as you please.
With that said, if you’re a youngster and you have one of these badass toys, you’re probably the coolest kid on the block. And even if you’re older, you gotta admit the mini-version of a running V8 engine, dubbed the Conley V8, is pretty cool – plus this one’s supercharged (fancy!). But the blown V8 isn’t the only realistic feature on this RC car. Take a look at the tires on this mini-Corvette; it has a tread pattern that you’d expect to see on actual Good Years. That’s the cool thing about quarter-scale cars, they’re essentially miniature versions of the real thing.
If you’re done watching this video and want to see more, check out this post by RC Car Action to see a video of the Conley “Stinger 609” V8 in action – the thing screams, like an angry lawn mower. Before you laugh, just know that these engines cost well over $8,000 from the manufacturer, Conley Precision.
