Hate to say this, but this is typical GM. Say you want all the bells and whistles the premium version offers, but want the upgraded engine the sport touring does. Can’t be done. Sight. Non-starter for me.
As an aside, we’re looking at mid-sized pickups right now. GMC Canyon doesn’t offer push-button start?!? Hello, GM, this is not a luxury option any more . . . . and they wonder why the Tacoma still wins the sales game even with an outdated product.
so go buy a Tacoma, with its push button start, that seems to be your main concern in a mid size pickup, I guess Toyota decided that a diesel option in the Tacoma wasn’t needed, or less horsepower in their v6 is what customers wanted in their Tacoma. why did you even read the article?
