2016 Holden Commodore Series II Stolen During Brand Training

Talk about a bold theft plot. According to AdelaideNow, a local man and woman stole a brand new 2016 Holden VF Commodore Series II while a training session for brand employees was taking place at Mallala Raceway.

The report states Holden employees were demonstrating the new 2016 Commodore Series II when a woman drove onto the Mallala circuit and her male passenger exited, climbed into the 2016 VF Series II and drove off.

Witnesses restrained and held the woman until police arrived on the scene. The 2o16 Holden Commodore was found without damage before police caught up to the male suspect and placed him into custody.

Holden spokesman Sean Poppitt said the pair had no known association with the company.

“We’re glad the car was recovered, great work by the police,” he said.

We know the 2016 Commodore Series II is one hot performance sedan, but that doesn’t mean resorting to theft, perspective owners.

  1. I’m sure he just wanted to see how well the vehicle operated when driven like you stole it…
