Chevrolet has big plans for the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, announcing it will be bringing quite a few concepts for its presence at the event. Those concepts include a family of what Chevrolet has named the “Red Line” concepts.
And much like the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado Red Line concept, the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Red Line concept receives many of the same cues to create a smash-hit of the truck’s styling.
The 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Red Line concept is also graced with an “Enhanced Silver Metallic” exterior paint choice, complimented by a custom Charcoal roof panel and Satin Graphite and red accents to start, but receives a few exclusive accessories, allowing the 2016 Silverado to own the Red Line look.
The 2016 Silverado Red Line concept adds the following accessories and performance parts, including:
- Satin Graphite mirror caps, window moldings, grille surround and inserts, door handles and fog lamp bezels
- Red tow hooks
- Z71 bedside graphics and Silverado nameplates in black with red accents
- Tinted taillamp lenses and windows
- Air intake and exhaust kits
- Brembo front brake kit
- 22-inch wheels (with custom red accents) and center caps
- Black bowtie kit
- Black-chrome exhaust tip
- Assist steps and cargo bed extender
- GearOn cargo rings and cross rails
- Hull-a-Port mounts and straps by Thule
- Floor liners
As with the rest of the Red Line concept family of vehicles, Chevrolet will be paying close attention to how the accessories are received, since some accessories are already confirmed for production, and others merely conceptual.

I like that. If I could buy that truck I would. Hopefully they offer the 5.3 and the 6.2. No V-6
To bad this will only be available with the 5.3, Ill bet my left nut GM doesn’t give you the option for the 6.2 in this package. You always have to buy the super expensive, high luxury models to get the bigger engine options.
I love the new look for 2016, and this redline edition is great take on the new styling. Will the trim level be LT, LTZ, etc?
The truck looks great if it was a sports car, 22″ rims on a Z-71? I’m confused as to what they are advertising, a truck with sports car size tires and rims, I own a loaded 2015 Silverado , the first thing I did was get rid of the pathetic 20″ rims and I put on 17″ Mickey Thompson deacon rims, the tires are a modest 285/70-17 big-ko2s. The grill looks great, although I despise the front low clearance front bumper, I also installed a high clearance front bumper with a built in skid plate, something these trucks lack, why can’t Chevy build a raptor competitor? Someone at The truck design team should be relocated to sports cars, they need a truck guy to fix things and lead in the truck department, Ford is leading, but the build quality is questionable… Dodge can’t build trannys or axles but have the best engines, I got the Chevy because it had a good tranny and axles with the automatic locker and 3:73 gears, its bad on gas, very bad, the dodge is very good on fuel, same with the fords, but not as good as the dodge.
