The 2016 Cadillac Escalade has been launched in the Middle East, and with the latest updates to the Cadillac flagship SUV we’re sure it was greatly welcomed.
The bold, new design features Cadillac’s latest modern, linear design cues. The interior has been revitalized with slew of new technological goodies such as a faster, more intuitive CUE infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, the latest OnStar capabilities, Lane Keep Assist, and the Bose Centerpoint Audio System.
Buyers will have the option between the traditional Escalade and the extended-length Escalade ESV, which costs $3,000 more. Trim options include the Standard model at $73,965, the Luxury model at $77,965, the Premium model at $82,465, and the top-tier Platinum model at $90,270. All models are powered by the 6.2L V8 L86 EcoTec3 engine.
While folks in the Middle East are surely excited for the arrival of the new Escalade, we have our focus more set on rumors of a Cadillac Escalade-V.

Was the ’15 Escalade sold in Middle East this year?
Yes it was sold there along with ATS, CTS, XTS and SRX.
With gas (Kuwait) at 28c a liter (American conversion currently is 86c a liter, here in Canada its $1.05), you can go 3x+ as far for the same cost.
So, at 15L per 100km which is what I get on my 2007 Escalade, I pay (lets round to $1.00 per L) $15 to go 100km. For $15 at Kuwaiti gas prices I can get 53L, which would allow me to go 353km.
So, by convoluted math, gas mileage is 3.5 times better in Kuwait….so, Escalades for everyone!
