Earlier we reported the Cadillac CTS-V, in its third generation, is already poised to pick up more power to fend up upcoming competition. While that will occur in the near future, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V already has plenty to offer with 640 hp and 630 lb-ft, making it a fitting star for the latest episode of Motor Trend’s “Ignition.”
First, we’re taken on an insanely quick lap time around Willow Springs with MT’s resident racing driver, sir Randy Pobst. After ringing the 2016 CTS-V out on the track, it becomes news to Pobst that Jonny Lieberman has entered the super saloon in the Virginia City Hillclimb in Nevada.
With that knowledge, Lieberman gets a few pointers from Pobst before heading off to the event.
How does the 2016 CTS-V fare as a hillclimb car? You’ll have to tune in for yourself to see.
