2010 Nickey Chevrolet Camaro To Be Auctioned Off At Mecum Chicago 2015

There’s a lot to love about this 2010 Nickey Chevrolet Camaro. For starters, the procharged 600CI LS3 V8 will make almost any enthusiast drool with admiration. On paper that powertrain sounds marvelous, but if you take a look at the photo of the engine bay below you’ll see the true beauty of it.
The LS3 is matted to a 6-speed transmission with a Richmond 4.10 Positraction gear ratio. With 1,000hp-rated axles the winning bidder can put the power down with confidence (as if these sort of cars ever even see wide-open throttle). It’s been dyno-tuned, so it’s safe to assume that this Camaro runs like a top.
We really like the Metallic Blue color and think it goes well with the two-tone Ebony seats, but the Lorenzo wheels wrapped in Red Line tires just doesn’t look right to us – it’s as if this Chevrolet Camaro is half-donk. As they say, to each their own. We can overlook the unfitting wheels as we found the rest of the car to be quite appealing.
Call us unoriginal, but we think a set of OEM ZL1 wheels in a gun metal or black finish would do this car justice. What do you think? Talk to us in the comment section below.
The no.16 out of 23 Nickey 2010 Camaro will cross the block at the Mecum Chicago 2015 auction.

9,7 liters, 1000 HP………………the Nickey guys is craaazyyyy
Nickey [with the backward K] is a storied Chevrolet dealer from Chicago that had its big days when Mr. Norm’s Grand Spaulding Dodge was all the rage too. 1960’s into 1971? Then the high performance market crashed with OPEC, insurance woes, and emissions concerns. We then entered the wheezer generation :[
You guys are correct. It is a handsome car but the wheels suck. Just another aftermarket wheel. If I owned that fine automobile I would . . . . . drive it. And drive it. And drive it some more !
When the 5th gen Camaro was introduced, the aftermarket support was NOT what it is today. There were not many wheel options to clear the SS / Brembo brakes. The Lorenzo wheels were one of the very few options at the time. The ZL1s were still two years out. This particular customer decided on these wheels at that time. I am happy to say that we now have a multitude of Kool wheels to pick from. NicKey Super Cars “ When Fast isn’t Fast Enough”!
