Cars can be the basis for some incredible builds, either mechanically or customization. Sometimes, though, things go awry. Especially this 1977 Custom Scorpion.
Corvette Blogger stumbled upon the one-off vehicle on Craigslist, which apparently is sits on a 1977 C3 Corvette chassis, and then fitted with some downright awful body work.
The side profile screams Ferrari Testarossa in the worst way possible, while the front and rear ends are a mystery to our eyes. The car looks like a Grand Theft Auto: Vice City vehicle come to life, but it surely should have stayed in the virtual realm.
According to the seller, he picked the 1977 Scorpion up from a gentleman who builds cars for Hendrick Motorsports, but we’re not sure what happened here. No angle is particularly pleasant to look at.
If there’s a bright side, the car is said to drive and handle like a champ on the road, as the seller states “It handles like a race car and hugs the road.” We’ll take a pass on this one, but it’s sure to find a new home.

Burn it
It looks worst than some of the crappy aftermarket kits made for Pontiac’s Fiero.
there’s ugly, ugly, ugly, and then still more ugly
The old saying….”This is your brain (C3), this is your brain on drugs (Custom Scorpion)” comes to mind…..
