Watch Chevrolet Take The 2016 Camaro Turbo Drifting: Video

While much of the buzz has surrounded the addition of the LT1 6.2-liter V8 in the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS, which makes 455 hp in this application, the most curious iteration of the car is certainly the LTG 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder.
Chevrolet has released official performance figures for each engine, and the base engine for the 2016 Camaro won’t be much of a slouch. With 275 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, the power is plenty to get the nimble, Alpha-based chassis sideways, apparent from the Michael Tung’s driving in the video above.
Tung, a Chevrolet chassis control engineer, has the (awesome) job of pushing cars to, and past, their limits. His latest patient was the 2016 Camaro, and he worked the chassis hard to ensure the turbo-four Camaro stuns a few people when they get behind the wheel.
The Camaro turbo looks like it’s ready to hold its own despite having a displacement the size of a soda bottle.

Chevy can in a couple of years give modify the turbocharged 2.0L DOHC-4v 4-cyl engine for a 10-second over-boost to 300-310hp as doing this would increase acceleration time of the Camaro without effecting gas mileage.
This car is going to murder the pony car competition which is pretty decent themselves already. But this Camaro here is a pure sports car with one of the finest handling yet.
