Opel Highlights Notable Accessories For The 2016 Astra: Video

Opel remains on a mission to “upset the luxury class,” as its latest tagline tells for the 2016 Astra. The luxury class is all about the details and, John David Pinder, Director of Individualization and Accessories, has highlighted two features to set the 2016 Opel Astra apart from the compact-car class.
First is the Air Wellness system. Dangling rearview mirror air fresheners are simply not luxurious. The 2016 Astra steps its scented game up with the Air Wellness system. How it work is the fragrance diffuser is powered by a button, which then creates a heating element to warm up an air freshener pad. The heat allows for great control of the intensity produced by whichever fragrance chosen by the driver.
Second is the mobile phone holder. The holder plugs right in to the space on the Astra’s console, and also charges it simultaneously. The phone is in hand’s reach, but doesn’t create for a distraction like many holders do when they are placed on the dashboard, or on the window.
Pinder says a host of other accessories have been developed for the car, however, which will be available at the launch of the 2016 Astra.
