Mob At Greektown Hotel Beats 2015 C7 Corvette Driver, Attempts To Steal Car

Outside of the Atheneum Hotel in Greektown, Detroit, Steven Gollum, the driver of a 2015 C7 Corvette Stingray, was blindsided as a group of people began beating him in the face, and tried to steal his car.

Local WJBK obtained cell phone video of the incident, showing the mob of people surrounding the 2015 C7 Corvette, and punching Gollum in the face multiple times.

“I just so happened to look into my driver side mirror and I see a shadow. After the shadow, I just received a bunch of punches. He came from my left side, approached the vehicle and started punching me. Once my buddy finally figured out what was going on, he had guys on that (passenger) side and they got him out of the vehicle. It was history at that point,” said Gollum.

Hotel security noticed the altercation, and called Detroit police immediately. Security also said they were aware of an incident on the eighth floor of the hotel, and say it spilled out into parking lot. Gollum happened to be an unsuspecting victim of the violence, who says he cannot see as well as he used to after suffering a swollen eye.

  1. That’s not right. That mob needed to go mess with some KIA drivers to knock some sense into those folks.
