Here’s the great thing about gearheads: they’re constantly trying to innovate and find the next best performance part in a never ending pursuit of power, and performance. That goes for the guys at Stevie’s Crazy Garage.
Why? Because they’ve been hard at work to produce a flat-plane crank kit for a number of engine applications. After surveying a number of potential customers, the overwhelming response for which engine application is most desired was the Chevrolet small-block V8, followed closely behind by the LSX engine.
Now, we bring you this information because we want to see this come to fruition. Badly. Very badly. Stevie’s Crazy Garage will be kicking off a crowd-funding campaign. Funding will begin on September 20 at IndieGoGo, which you can find at the link here. Anything is appreciated to bring this ambitious idea to life.
The product isn’t vaporware, either. SCG provided the attached image, and has been working diligently on the product for the past few months, with final versions said to be very close to realization.
Now, shut up and take our money.

Seems like there’s a bunch of questions that are going unanswered I would like to know if I could get a Chevy 350 small block flat plane crankshaft
With the introduction of the new c8 zo6 vette I think there will be a lot of interest in retrofitting a flat plane crank in the older Chevy smallblocks! Where’s the aftermarket to fill this niche. Step up Crower, scat and eagle. The market is here at waiting to hear from you!
