Chevrolet Launches Onix Effect In Argentina

Chevrolet Argentina has announced that starting this month, the new Chevrolet Onix Effect will become available across Chevy dealers in the country.
The Onix Effect is a specially-equipped model of the Gamma-based Onix that builds on the Onix in LTZ trim by adding elements that enable it to stand out form the crowd. The model is available in either White or Red Pepper exterior colors and adds the following features:
- Unique grille, headlamps and fog lights
- Gloss-black roof
- Graphite-finish 15-inch wheelsRear spoiler
- Side skirts
- Special badging and graphics
Inside, the Onix Effect incorporates:
- Thick, flat-bottom steering wheel with controls for the audio system and phone
- Effect badging on the tachometer
- Gloss red accents on the steering wheel, A/C vents and seats
- Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system with a 7-inch color touchscreen display from the Onix LTZ that offers rich smartphone integration via Bluetooth, as well as USB and AUX In ports
Onix Effect is powered by a 1.4L gasoline engine making 98 horsepower mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It starts at 221,800 Argentine Pesos, which is roughly $23,800 USD, using current conversion rates.
Nice looking car. Would sell well beside Opel Karl with a little work.
