Borla Shows Off Catback Exhaust For 2015 Chevrolet Colorado: Video

The 3.6L LFX V6 engine in the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado doesn’t exactly produce an exhaust note that one would call memorable, or invigorating. But with a Borla catback system, the personality of the LFX really comes around.
It’s not obnoxiously loud, but it isn’t a whisper either. Like we said, this exhaust system is for those who want their work truck to sound a little more impressionable, as it hauls an ATV up the mountain trail (or something). Sure, you could leave the quiet stock exhaust on and hear a little engine noise as you haul your what-have-yous through the hills. Alternatively, you could bolt on this catback, and sound like a champion as you effortlessly trail your belongings down the road.
Or maybe you just enjoy hearing the response of your Colorado (or Canyon), instead of turning it over and wondering if it’s on or not because it’s just so darn quiet.

Too bad nearly all v6s sound like sh#t. The woosh of a turbo helps a little bit, but it’s no guarantee. The only good sounding V6s seem to have italian or Japanese badges on them and are stupidly small in displacement (sub 3.0L) with sky-high red lines…oh well, nice try anyway Borla.
The only V6 that sounds good is the 4.3.
I put a Magnaflow muffler on my 1997 S10 pickup with the 4.3L….Sounds great, and actually turns heads when I hit the “go” pedal.
Regarding this video from Borla…All I mainly hear is wind noise.
