Borla Performance is one of the biggest aftermarket exhaust names in the business, and builds kits for a plethora of automobiles. The 2015 GMC Yukon Denali fitted with GM’s 420 hp 6.2 Liter V8 EcoTec3 L86 engine is one of them.
The company recently released a short clip showcasing its new pipes and by the sound of things it’s engineered quite the cooker.
The driver first brings the Yukon to a stop, drops it into neutral, and hammers the go-pedal. The revs quickly flare up like flames and if you close your eyes, you could be fooled into thinking this bossy GMC is a Corvette.
After a few squeezes of throttle we’re treated to an-car binnacle view that shows just how fast the hulking 4X4 can squirt down the tarmac. While we’re not privy to any horsepower gains as of yet, it seems to hustle down the road a touch quicker than the stock Denali.
Either that or we’re just engrossed by its sweet, husky roar.
Catch the bite-sized clip above and let us know what you think of the Denali’s new pipes.
